To whom it may concern, I am writing to register my support for the proposed McDonald’s restaurant and drive-thru off Lane End in Kirkby-in-Ashfield (Application Reference: V/2025/0003). I support this application because a new McDonald’s would represent significant investment in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, boosting the local economy. Another reason I support this application is because a new McDonald’s would create approximately 120 much-needed new jobs in the local community, as well as further opportunities in construction and the supply chain. A new McDonald’s restaurant at this location would be positive for Kirkby-in-Ashfield and I hope that Ashfield District Council is able to support the application.
